few days I've been seeing on the network the so famous French toast Easter, and when I read it to them to steam tray using varoma so forgotten that we have in many cases, it seemed a good idea, since the steam best cooked food, the recipes are healthier, and more over if you take away some calories out of the way, much better.
I began to leaf through cookbooks, and finally one that I have thought long and very little use "Full Steam " Vorwerk is and gave it to me when I bought the machine. - 1 liter of whole milk or low-fat (if you want them more ligh).
- 150 g sugar.
- The skin of a lemon.
- 1 stick of cinnamon.
- 1 loaf of white bread, cut into slices about 2 cm.
- 2 eggs.
- Butter ointment.
- 800 gr of water.
- 8 tablespoons of sugar.
- 3 tablespoons of cinnamon.
prepares So: 1 .-
Pour into a glass of milk, sugar, lemon peel and cinnamon stick and program 8 minutes, 100 º, turn left and speed spoon. 2 .-
Pour into a large bowl and let stand until lukewarm. 3 .-
Meanwhile, the rest is preparation: Put the eggs into the bowl and mix for 10 seconds, speed 5, removing the left turn. Pour into a bowl and reserve. 4 .-
Prepare several squares of transparent film (which large enough to wrap each slice of bread), and pincélalos with a little butter. 5 .-
Go dipping pieces of bread in the preparation of milk and allowed to soak well. As you get them off the milk, pass by the beaten egg, turning, and finally, wrap with transparent film that you had reserved. Wrap tightly and placing in the tray is varoma.

Pour water into the bowl, put the tray into position and varoma program 25 minutes, varoma, speed 1.
8 .- While making toast are steamed, preheat oven to 250 º. 9 .-
Mix sugar and cinnamon in a bowl and reserve. 10 .-
vapor Over time, remove the tray varoma. Unwrap the bread slices with care and oozes both sides in the cinnamon sugar mixture, and is placing the toast on a baking tray with baking paper. Enter the tray in the oven and bake the French toast for 5 minutes.
TIPS:
- Please note that varoma tray is not too large, thus, makes good use of space, using two trays, and dispensing it to not mount the toast on top of each other, otherwise no would be made in the same way.
- If you like ligh option, this recipe is already quite low in calories, since no oil and are not fried, but you can still make it lower in calories, using semi-skimmed milk, or soy drink for those who are lactose intolerant or love this drink.


- It is advisable to use French toast bread (rustic loaf), and if possible one day to another, so that the consistency of bread is more on point.
