RICE PUDDING SOY in THERMOMIX

I know several people who are lactose intolerant ... also know too many people (including myself) that we love soymilk, and therefore we take every day with coffee, alone or in some of our preparations. I even use vegetable-based cream soy increasingly sold in stores. It seems incredible flavor that makes fried vegetables in cakes and even at creams. It is for this reason that flipping one of my cookbooks, I thought of incorporating this "milk" to one of my favorite desserts ... RICE PUDDING.

The flavor is different, and I mention because there are people I asked how he knows that if you are rich, if you're too sweet ... and I obviously I have to say is not as tasty as the traditional rice pudding, among other things because the main ingredinte (milk) has nothing to do.

addition, this recipe uses no butter, no cream or anything like that, but it is the same way ... a simple way and using our machine, we can do other things at home while cooking, without having to be stirring constantly with a spoon.

RICE SOY MILK

need ...

- 1 liter of soy drink (the brand you use regularly).
- 50 grams of sugar (and a little more).

- 1 pinch of salt.

- 1 stick of cinnamon.

- 1 lemon peel.

- 220 g round grain rice.

This prepares :

1 .- Prepare all ingredients. Peel the lemon and use the bark in the same strip so as not to mix around.

2 .- Put the cup soy milk, sugar, pinch of salt, the cinnamon stick and lemon rind and program 8 minutes, 100 º, speed 1, without putting cup.

3 .- Add the rice and program 40 minutes, 90 º, turn left and speed 1 without placing the beaker.

4 .- Pour into suitable containers for it (dishes, pots, bowls ...) and let stand for 15 minutes.

5 .- Serve warm or cold dusted with cinnamon and sugar.
